The firm

Line of the Ball is a private advisory firm in Greenwich, Connecticut, founded in 2022. Its principal has spent more than 30 years inside regulated financial institutions, including global banks, insurers, asset managers, a stock exchange and a lending fintech, in Chief of Staff, transformation and risk leadership roles. The firm takes a small number of engagements at a time and works directly with the executive sponsor.

In polo, the line of the ball is the path the ball is travelling. The player who reads it first has the right of way. The firm is named for that moment: reading the line early, committing to it, and playing through.

The firm also maintains a residential design practice.
